Members of the Senior Leadership Team and other staff are highly visible each morning, welcoming students as they arrive, checking uniform and equipment, and supporting a safe, calm and orderly start to the day. Staff are on duty at the front of the academy and in the bus park from 8:00am. The inner gates open at 8:10am, allowing students to make their way into the building ready for the start of the school day.

School day timings:

• Staff on duty: 8:00am
• Inner gates open: 8:10am
• Students in the building by: 8:35am (at the latest)
• Tutor time begins: 8:40am
• School finishes: 3:10pm (every day)

Excellent attendance and punctuality remain among the strongest predictors of academic success, and we will continue to work closely with families to ensure every student benefits from being in school every day.

The kitchens open at 8:10am and serve a variety of breakfast options. 

Buses collect from the bus park directly outside of school, and students are supervised while they wait.  There is always a senior member of staff on duty until the last bus leaves.
